If someone were to ask
I would say I like you
I would say it unflinching
Confident, smiling
But I can't say love
Not because I don't
But I am wary of diving straight in
Only to find out later that I'm the only one.
Past experiences hurts
It made us both wary
But we try again
The push and pull
Despite us not wanting it
We couldn't stay away
Will it be me and you against the world
Or will it be us against the world?
It's too soon to be us
I am scared
I've always wanted more
More of you
Yet I don't know if you want that too
So I can't see it
And yet I can't get away from you.
