An arrow
That's what you are.
My steeled defense
Then you made a crack
A crack small enough that only you were in
The point of pressure small enough
That only you that could be seen.
I've always hated you for it
For making that crack
For opening my deaf ears
For enlightening my blind eyes
Showing me a world so cruel
Where only you were not.
Could you have been a saviour
Maybe in another world
When I am also another in the pool
Your existence gave me a swirl
My pool became a stormy ocean
So you became the wayfarer I need to remove
- I did.
The crack didn't leave with you
Your thoughtless arrow gave room
To more worldly miseries
My old self couldn't be summoned
I was changed.
So were you
Shooting another's defense.
